I love the outdoor life, being on the water or in beautiful places.  I took up road cycling as an alternative to running and it makes me feel better about having a beer or two on a Friday! (preferably whilst standing at the BBQ or with a curry!).

Favourite Sport:

I’ve skied since I was very young and competed at university level, these days I just love being in the mountains and enjoying them for what they are!

My Team:

Leicester Tigers of course, Welford Road on a Saturday with my teenage son and good friends, perfect.

The Times World Atlas – there are so many places still to visit.

Favourite Places:

Le Bel Air, Courchevel 1650, The Penhelig in Aberdovey and Otter Ferry on the banks of Loch Fyne.

Fantastic Place by Marillion (it’s not what you think it is).

Where Eagles Dare.

Luxury Item:

A lovely pair of sunglasses.

Did you know:

I’ve run a marathon.
