The iconic British footwear brand Dr Martens has opened a new store in Cambridge.

The 700 sq ft retail outlet’s arrival in Sidney Street, follows the recent store opening on Sadler Gate in Derby earlier this year – bringing     Dr Martens’ UK stores count up to 25 nationwide.  The property was taken on a 10 year lease with a break at year 5.

Cambridge is a fantastic and diverse city which has a cultural relevance to Dr Martens with its strong association with music – a key pillar of the brand.  Cambridge is also renowned for its buzzing student population which makes it the ideal location.

The Landlords The Master, Fellows and Scholars of Trinity College, Cambridge were represented by Bidwells.

Dr Martens were represented by their retained agents SPACE Retail Property Consultants who continue to seek further locations for opening in 2016.
