SPACE are retained by Calthorpe Estates and have worked closely with our client for the last two years to formulate and create the most recent Urban Village concept in the UK.
The Edgbaston estate is the largest conservation area in Europe, comprising in excess of 400 acres. At the heart of the estate is Edgbaston Village: a hidden gem, one mile from Birmingham city centre.
SPACE are leasing a collection of retail units to be redeveloped along Harborne Road and Greenfield Crescent which together with additional food and beverage lettings, public realm improvements and branding will create Edgbaston Village
Our current food and beverage occupiers in this vibrant Village include El Borracho, Simpsons (Michelin starred) Costa Coffee, The Edgbaston Cocktail Bar & Boutique Hotel plus the Highfield gastro pub. The Village is set amongst some 3m sqft of office space and over 15 private schools and colleges plus the iconic cricket club.
